Dr. Rachael Siegel earned a Ph.D. from The Rockefeller University, Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology where she studied the role of transcription factors in lymphocyte development with Dr. Robert G. Roeder. Dr. Siegel conducted post-doctoral studies at The Institute for Cancer Genetics of Columbia University and was the recipient of a fellowship from The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to study aberrant gene regulatory patterns occurring with genetic alterations in leukemia. Dr. Siegel began her research career within the Genesis Biotechnology Group as a Research Scientist six years ago and has been a Team Leader for one year. She is a co-inventor on three issued patents and is a member of the Genes and Immunity editorial board.
