Linda has more than 15 years experience in analytical chemistry, specializing in mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, gas chromatography and ultra performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC). She manages our analytical laboratory, providing analytical support for medicinal chemistry and coordinating open access LC/MS for the drug discovery and development groups. Linda supports our assay development and compound screening groups using a proprietary chemical decoding process to track and identify combinatorial compounds. Linda supervised the analytical laboratory at Pharmacopeia/Ligand for many years where she was responsible for developing conditions for the elution of combinatorial compounds from polystyrene beads and verifying production conditions for the Compound Collection Management lab. She helped to develop and implement a high throughput data analysis program for Library Quality Assurance (Lib QA) that resulted in a three-fold improvement in data handling. She has provided analytical support for 8 publications and one patent and she is a member of the American Chemical Society. Linda received her B.S., Chemistry from St. John’s University in New York.
