John Malone
Compound Collection Manager

John Malone has over seventeen years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including fifteen years in compound management at Pharmacopeia, Inc. , where he played a major role in managing the ECLiPS compound collection, producing assay–ready compound plates to support over 150 screening campaigns. He has extensive experience with the use of standard automated liquid handlers and acoustic dispensers for 384 and 1536-well microplate formats. Since joining Venenum Biodesign in 2010, John helped establish its compound management operation, and as manager of Venenum’s compound collection, he is responsible for all tracking and distribution of over 5.5 million chemical compounds in it ECLiPS collection as well as 80,000 individual compound stocks.
